Farmstand Updates: What a Ride Since May!

Small farmstand surrounded by trees with a Woods & Woes sign by the entrance
We opened the farmstand in May, and what a fun, crazy ride it’s been so far. Some days traffic is zero. Other days, I get to see people stopping by and grabbing snacks, and that makes my day. It’s been a slow start, but spirits are high. I’m in this for the love of the game, lol. You don’t start a farmstand expecting to make it big! I’ve been doing tons of experiments, and what I started out selling isn’t exactly what I’m selling now. I’m feeling out what works, what people like, and how to get the stand noticed on this old, quiet country road. It’s all a work in progress, and I’m in it for the long haul. Did I take this on while working full time and running the homestead? Sure did. Taking on way more than I can handle is kind of what I do best. Right now I’m working on fall treats and running our Halloween giveaway after a successful summer giveaway. There are apple fritters, focaccia bread, antique finds, vintage jewelry, spices, and so much more at the stand or on the way. I’m ready to kick off fall and winter, the seasons I’m most excited to run the stand through. Thanks for following along and for every stop at the stand so far!
